COMMANDER, MCALESTER ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT
Col. Gabriel W. Pryor assumed command of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant on June 22, 2023. McAlester Army Ammunition Plant has
conventional ammunition life cycle management capabilities including integration, design, production, storage, maintenance, demilitarization, and rail maintenance.
In May 1999, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps from the Army ROTC program at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
Col. Pryor has earned a Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army
Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
His previous assignments include: Maintenance Platoon Leader and Shop Officer, Bravo Company, 615th Aviation Support Battalion, DISCOM S3 Plans Officer, 1st Cavalry

Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (bronze campaign star),
Iraq Campaign Medal (4 bronze stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NATO Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3 numerals), Joint Meritorious Unit Citation,

BRIAN D. LOTT
DEPUTY TO COMMANDER
Brian D. Lott assumed his position as Civilian Deputy for the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant in Feb. 2019.
In this capacity, he is responsible for managing the plant’s mission programs, the safety, security, quality and reliability of the munitions stockpile, maintenance of the infrastructure, and formulating long-range strategic plans and policies to accomplish the plant’s mission efficiently and effectively.
Before assuming the position of Civilian Deputy, Lott served as the plant’s Chief of Staff, which included responsibilities for Risk Management (Safety, Security, Fire and Emergency Services), Logistics, Information Management, Quality Assurance, Community and Family Activities, Environmental Management, Equal Employment Opportunity, Internal Review and Audit Compliance, Public Affairs and the Commander’s Initiative Group.
He began his civil service career in 1991 as a student employee in the Resource Management Directorate at MCAAP. During his career, he has held a number of positions including Explosives Worker, Program/Management Analyst, Marketing Specialist, Chief of the Industrial Operations Division and Director of Ammunition Operations.
Lott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, Oklahoma, in May 1996, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma, in 2001. He is a graduate of the Depot and Arsenal Executive Leadership Program administered by the Institute for Defense and Business and taught in partnership with the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class 31.
Lott serves on the Board of Regents for Eastern Oklahoma State College and is President of the Frink-Chambers Public Schools Board of Education.
